To make it easy and simple i volition dissever this confront cartoon tutorial into 3 different parts : Front view, Side view and iii/4 view , this is part one of three, in this tutorial I will cover front view face up drawing of both male and female. basic formula are same for both, only some proportions are unlike for male person from female

Note : Let me tell you that this is not Andrew Loomis method of drawing a face but this method follow the theory of Andrew Loomis

Lets Start with Female Face

Step one :

Draw a horizontal line and vertical line intersecting each other and right angle (90º). then mark a altitude from signal of intersection both side as and that distance should be half of size of the center then mark equal distance in both side and that will be the size of eye.

Stride 2 :

Now we will define the size of the nose, now mark a distance on the vertical line from the bespeak of intersection then draw a pocket-sized construction line(horizontal) on the marking and now make a triangle on that line

Footstep 3 :

Mark two lines equal to the size of the eye from cease point of nose, that will be position of lover lip and other point will be position of mentum

Step 4 :

Now draw the basic shape of eye on both side and so I will ascertain the position and shape of center brow and for that draw a line joining the nose and stop of the eye both side, and draw triangular shape and draw middle brows like this as shown in epitome above. also draw basic shape of nose

Step 5 :

Now its fourth dimension define the size and shape of the lips, draw vertical lines from the center of the eyeball and the altitude between these lines will be the size of lips, now draw the lips like this equally shown in image in a higher place

Step six :

At present its time to provide shape of the chin and for that describe lines both side whose altitude volition be half of the eye from the end of the eye and and then describe ii vertical lines from the center of the eye ball, and join them like this as shown in the figure

Step 7 :

For drawing hairs nosotros should marking the hair line, distance betwixt eyebrow line and hair line volition be equal to distance betwixt nose and chin

Step eight :

Now its time to draw ears, distance between nose and center forehead volition be size of ear, so draw two parallel lines touching eyebrow and terminate of the nose as shown in picture. draw the basic shape of ear between these ii lines

Male Face

As I said before that the bones formula are same for both, but some proportions are different for male from female. so I volition just talk about that differences

And so step 1-three will be exactly similar then we will straight leap into stride iv

Step four :

At present draw the basic shape of eye on both side and then I volition define the position and shape of eye forehead and for that describe a line joining the nose and end of the middle both side, and draw triangular shape and draw heart brows similar this as shown in epitome above, the shape of centre brows will exist slightly different from female eyebrows it will be petty thicker and closer to the optics, also draw basic shape of nose

Step 5 will be exactly like

Step 6 :

Now its time to provide shape of the chin and jawline and for that draw lines both side whose distance will exist half of the eye from the end of the heart then draw two vertical lines from the center of the eye ball, and join them similar this every bit shown in the effigy (chin will exist little wider and jawline will exist niggling narrow)

Pace 7 & 8 will exist similar expect the hair way of male person
